How to Play Ludo Super King
The classic, made premium. Online rooms with friends, vs computer, or pass & play on one phone.
Ludo Super King is the classic four-colour race game rebuilt for the phone browser. Each player has four tokens waiting in the yard, a six gets a token out, and the first player to bring every token home wins. There is no login, no download, and the dice is a plain fair roll unless you switch on Masala Dice on purpose.
This version is built for Indian players who grew up on the board game. You can play online rooms with friends using a code, jump into Quick Match with strangers, fight the computer at three difficulty levels, or pass one phone around for a free 2 to 4 player game. Wins climb a league ladder from Bronze to Super King.
Controls
- Tap your dice when the turn label says it is your turn; the roll happens instantly.
- After the roll, tap the token you want to move. Only legal tokens light up.
- If just one move is possible the game still waits for your tap, so keep an eye on the turn timer bar.
- Emote buttons (thumbs up, laugh, cry, fire, folded hands, angry) sit below the board in online games.
How to play, step by step
- Pick a mode from the home screen: Play With Friends, Quick Match, VS Computer, or Pass and Play.
- For VS Computer choose 2, 3 or 4 players, your colour, and Easy, Medium or Hard bots.
- Optionally toggle Quick Mode (2 tokens each, both start on the track, first token home wins, about 5 minutes) or Masala Dice (rolls weighted toward captures and drama).
- Roll the dice on your turn. You need a six to bring a token out of the yard in normal mode.
- Move a token the number rolled. Landing on an opponent's token on a non-safe square sends it back to their yard.
Rules and scoring
- Eight star squares are safe; tokens standing on them cannot be captured.
- Rolling three sixes in one turn forfeits the whole turn, exactly like the house rule everyone argues about.
- Online rooms and VS Computer cost 100 coins entry; the winner takes the pot (190 for 2 players, 220 for 3, 250 for 4). Low balance gives a free entry for half the pot.
- Pass and Play is completely free and does not count toward ranked wins.
Tips to score higher
- Get a second token out as soon as you can. One lone runner is easy to hunt.
- Park tokens on star squares when an enemy is 1 to 6 squares behind you.
- Count squares before moving: never stop exactly six squares ahead of an opponent's token.
- Captures give an extra roll, so a cut that also advances you is nearly always the right move.
- Against Hard bots, the AI prioritises captures over everything else; keep your lead token out of reach.
- In Quick Mode both tokens start on the track, so every roll is a racing decision, not a waiting game.
Modes and challenges
- Play With Friends: create a room, share the code or invite link, add bots to fill seats, host starts.
- Quick Match: instant online game against strangers with auto start.
- VS Computer: 2 to 4 players, Easy, Medium or Hard bots, 100 coin entry.
Frequently asked questions
Is the dice fair?
Yes. The normal dice is a plain random roll with no bias.
Can I play with friends who are far away?
Yes. Create a room, send the code or invite link, and they join from any browser.
What happens if I roll three sixes?
Your turn is cancelled and play moves to the next colour. The game shows a toast saying the turn was cancelled so there is no confusion.
Do I lose coins if I lose a game?
The 100 coin entry is paid when the game starts and only the winner collects the pot. If your balance is low the game gives a free entry with a smaller pot, so you can always keep playing.
